Our lives are mythologies. We may believe they are small, and at times, insignificant — but no one’s life really is. Every life is significant, and every detail of those lives is important to someone. That’s a mythology — a story of how things came to be, to learn so that we may better understand how things are, so that we may try to shape our futures to be better than our pasts.
This quote below was one of the first Meditations. It is something in which I deeply believe — and I learned it so that when I needed it most I could clutch it to my chest, breathe it in, and try to bring it to pass.
I wrote it down, so you could too. Go ye forth, and be Awesome.
