This Tuesday, September 24th, I will have the honor of being the Guest Speaker at the Second Annual Writers Unite To Fight Cancer (WUFC) Writing Contest Awards Ceremony.  The event will be held at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, starting at 7:00 PM.

Award winning vocalist Vanessa Joy will perform, and after the awards ceremony, I’ll be signing books with the WUFC Judges and Vanessa with autograph her CDs. The anthology, Courage to Thrive, a collection of the 2012 Writing Contest Winners and Finalists, will be available for sale and some of the authors whose work is included may be attending the event.

WUFC donates the money from the contest entry fees and the profits from the anthology sales to the collaborative cancer research program at  Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine  (SCNM / ASU) with Arizona State University.
