A James Owen Primer
Thanks to my new friends Larry and Robin at WOCA radio in Ocala, Florida, and their gracious plug for this website (and kind suggestion for listeners to buy Drawing Out The Dragons here instead of from Amazon, which I’m totally cool with) a lot of new readers are already asking questions, so I thought posting a quick primer would be in order.
My primary website (www.jamesaowen.com) is where I post a lot of inspirational stuff related to the Meditations books (of which Drawing Out The Dragons is the first of three); I also post things relating to my Imaginarium Geographica novels (the last of which, The First Dragon, will be out in November) as well as my upcoming Fool’s Hollow series (the first of which will be out in October).
All of the books I do can be purchased (and personalized) via the Coppervale Marketplace/Crossroads Bookstore website; the book Drawing Out The Dragons in particular is a worthwhile gift, because of what it is — not fiction, but a book-length parable of real life, and how the choices we make can inspire others.
We are working on filling out this website with more art, and more about the books, but in the meantime I am most active on a daily basis on facebook, where my fanpage is listed under James A. Owen. Right now, I’m posting the in-progress art from the upcoming book The First Dragon. And you don’t want to miss the things I post when I’ve been taking decongestants.
To those of you who are just joining us, welcome. For those of you who have been along for the ride already, I hope you’re having fun. That is, after all, the point: to help others, and have a good time. I have yet to find a philosophy I like better.
